Emirates is offering eligible passengers a complimentary stay at the five-star JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai this summer. Book a paid return ticket between June 22 and July 12, 2026, fly in Business or First and you get two nights. Premium Economy and Economy get one night. Travel has to fall between June 25 and September 30, and your trip has to include a Dubai stopover of more than 24 hours.

One thing to know before you get excited: this is a cash-fare offer. Tickets paid in full with Skywards Miles or any other redemption don't qualify. The terms exclude tickets "redeemed in full using Skywards Miles or other redemption offers," and require a paid Emirates-issued, Emirates-operated ticket.

Who Qualifies

The offer applies to paid return tickets — to Dubai, or through Dubai as a stopover. One-way tickets are out, and it can't be claimed retroactively on a ticket you already hold.

  • First and Business Class: two complimentary nights at the JW Marriott Marquis

  • Premium Economy and Economy: one complimentary night

Connecting through Dubai? Your stopover has to clear 24 hours. Flying a mixed-cabin fare (e.g. Business one way, Economy the other) drops you to the one-night tier. The stay is claimed once, on either leg, as long as you check in by September 30.

How to book it

Book the flight first, then claim the hotel by email — it's not an automatic add-on at checkout.

After booking, email [email protected] with your ticketed PNR, Dubai arrival date, all passenger names, and a contact phone and email. Emirates sends your hotel confirmation within 96 hours.

Send it at least 96 hours before arrival (or before September 26, whichever comes first) — that deadline is in the official terms, not a guess.

Pro Tip: The room, taxes, and Tourism Dirham Fee are covered. Meals, minibar, transfers, and visa costs are not. Bring a card for check-in incidentals.

What you get at the JW Marriott Marquis

A real five-star property in Business Bay — not an airport overflow hotel. Saray Spa, full gym, multiple restaurants and bars, outdoor pool with skyline views. Room-only basis, twin-sharing (max two adults and one child up to 11.99 years), 24-hour check-in from your flight's scheduled arrival.

For a one-night Economy claim that's a few hundred dollars of hotel for free. For two nights in a premium cabin, it's a meaningful chunk of a Dubai trip covered before you spend a dirham on lodging.

Stack it with My Emirates Pass

My Emirates Pass is back for summer 2026 — your boarding pass unlocks 600+ discounts across restaurants, spas, retailers, and attractions. Show a physical or digital boarding pass plus ID. If your dates land between July 2 and August 30, Dubai Summer Surprises runs alongside it.

This isn't Dubai Connect

It’s easy to mix these up. The summer offer rewards you for choosing a 24-hour-plus Dubai stay on a paid return ticket. Dubai Connect is the standing year-round program for unavoidable long layovers (6 to 26 hours, where Dubai is your shortest available connection) — it covers a hotel, transfers, meals, and a visa, but you can't game it with a deliberately longer layover. Different tools, different rules.

Is it worth booking around?

This is a great program for the everyday traveler. Sadly, for points aficionados like me, it’s not going to be useful. If Dubai's already on your route, you book the ticket you were buying and the hotel comes attached. Just price the flight on its own merits first. A free hotel night isn't free if the fare runs higher than what you'd pay elsewhere.

FAQ

Does the Emirates free hotel offer work on points or award tickets? No. Tickets redeemed in full with Skywards Miles or any other redemption are excluded. You need a paid, Emirates-issued, Emirates-operated revenue ticket to qualify.

How do I claim the free hotel stay? Book a paid Emirates return ticket between June 22 and July 12, 2026, for travel between June 25 and September 30. Then email [email protected] with your PNR, Dubai arrival date, passenger names, and contact details, at least 96 hours before arrival.

How many free nights do I get? Two nights at the JW Marriott Marquis for First and Business Class; one night for Premium Economy and Economy.

Does it have to be Dubai, or can it be a stopover? Either — final destination or stopover. Connecting itineraries need a Dubai stopover longer than 24 hours.

Can I claim it on a ticket I already booked? No. New bookings only, made in the June 22–July 12 window.

Is this the same as Dubai Connect? No. Dubai Connect is a separate year-round program for unavoidable long layovers. The summer offer is a promotion for paid return tickets with a chosen 24-hour-plus Dubai stay.
